2026 Candidate Questionnaires
Transparency is the anchor of democracy.
The Blue Anchor Project invites all declared candidates in the races we evaluate — beginning with the 2026 Maine U.S. Senate race — to complete our Candidate Questionnaire, designed to assess transparency, accountability, and commitment to democratic values.
Our goal is to give voters clear, unfiltered insight into where candidates stand on key issues, including jobs, education, healthcare, democracy reform, and climate.
All responses are published exactly as submitted, without edits or revisions. Candidates who do not respond are noted below.
The same questionnaire is distributed to every declared candidate within each race. Publication does not imply coordination or authorization by any candidate or campaign.
The Maine Senate race marks the beginning of this year’s endorsement cycle. Additional endorsements — and corresponding candidate questionnaire responses — will be announced and published in the coming weeks.
